植物にはその生活環に含まれるどの段階、どの状態においても完璧な美しさが存在する。例えば瑞々しい艶を放ち包まれたつぼみがその役割を終て水分を失い朽ち果てるまで、そこには命を研ぎ澄ませながら累代変遷されてきた無常な美しさを持つ装飾が表出される。

 
 
Plants have perfect beauty at every stage and in every state of their life cycle. For example, until a bud that has been enveloped in fresh luster loses its water content and decays, it displays an impermanent beauty of ornamentation that has been progressively transformed over generations while sharpening its life.

SARASAが’もし世界が終わるとしたら’の旅行をテーマとして考えてそれで二人で旅行に出た。
時間は無限にあるわけでもないので自由な旅はできなかったが彼方此方へ行った。

 
 

SARASA came up with the theme of “If the world were to end,” and the two of us went on a trip together.
Since time is not infinite, we could not travel freely, but we went to many places.

旅をした2010年9月から2020年2月にかけて撮影した写真の正確な場所や日時を割り出すため、
今となっては非現実的になってしまった過去の日常を見つめ、この10年を思い返すような時間を過ごしていることに気づいた。

 
 

In order to determine the exact location and date of the photographs taken between September 2010 and February 2020, when I made the trip.
I found myself spending time looking at past routines that are now unrealistic and reflecting on the past 10 years.
